BHARATHIAR UNIVERSITY

Bharathiar University was established in 1982 by the Government of Tamilnadu at Coimbatore under the provision of the Bharathiar University Act, 1981. In May, 1985 the University received the recognition from University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi and got re–accredited with A Grade by NAAC and placed among the top ten universities at the national level.
The School of Distance Education of Bharathiar University was founded during the academic year 1991-92 realizing the objective of strengthening its base to provide quality education. The school has started extending its action by identifying and approving study centres throughout the country and abroad to help achieve higher gross enrolment ratio and high literacy rate

Those who discontinued their Degree or PG courses elsewhere accomplish their long cherished dream of obtaining valuable University Degrees through us. Also Graduates aiming at Post Graduation courses and students seeking admission to Degree courses aftertheir +2 studies in the U.A.E. are immensely relying up on this unique facility of completing their higher studies in this region itself
